Innovative Learning
Delivered through the unique Olus Learning Portal, our innovative digital learning program is built on 10+ years experience teaching children and training teachers around Ireland and the UK. This portal is supercharged by live and non-live learning opportunities. Technology means nothing without amazing tutors, and these days amazing tutors can’t do too much without amazing technology - Olus has you covered!
Experienced Team
Our team has provided digital skills training on the biggest and smallest of stages. We have worked directly on coding and technology courses with thousands of students through both our in-school and at-home offerings. For teachers and school leadership, we have delivered national training events with Google, whole-borough training programmes in London for schools’ leadership teams, and individual school training across dozens of schools in the UK and Ireland.
Creative at the Core
We are always listening to the children, teachers and parents that we are lucky enough to work with. We understand their goals and challenges and are constantly inventing new ways of fostering creativity and supporting their learning journey. Our mission is to train the leaders of tomorrow to be imaginative, ambitious and to think critically about how they can make the world a better place. We are walking the walk, not just talking the talk!

Our Founders
In 2021 Diarmuid Ó Muirgheasa, now Olus CEO, was running the Academy of Code, delivering coding classes to thousands of kids and teens across Ireland, both in-school and through extra-curricular classes.
Gavin Molloy was running Cocoon, an education and training company focused on helping schools maximise the value of technology in the classroom.
In August 2021 the Academy of Code and Cocoon merged to create Olus. Diarmuid and Gavin share a vision of the future where teachers have access to the best technology to help shape their students’ learning, and students have the opportunity to build deep and meaningful digital skillsets which will improve their careers and their lives more broadly. Olus Education’s mission is to make this vision a reality.
